European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 1987/88

The 1987/88 European Cup Winners' Cup was the 13th staging of the competition for European handball cup winners . The 26 participating teams qualified in their home countries through the national cup competition for the European Cup organized by the International Handball Federation (IHF) . In the final, the Soviet representative SKA Minsk prevailed against TV Großwallstadt (21:24, 27:15). Minsk won the competition for the second time after 1983 , while Großwallstadt lost the final for the second time after 1986 .
