European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 2000/01
In the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 2000/01 , 36 handball club teams took part, which were able to qualify for the competition in their home countries in the previous season in the cup competition. It was the 26th edition of the cup winners' competition. The defending champion was the Spanish club Portland San Antonio . The cup games began on October 14, 2000 and ended with the second final game on April 28, 2001. In the final, SG Flensburg-Handewitt prevailed against Ademar León .

The competition started with four games in round 2. The winners moved into round 3, in which other, higher-ranking teams entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the European Cup Winners' Cup of the 2000/01 season.
