EHF European Women's Cup Winners' Cup 2002/03

At the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup in 2002/03 took 29 Handball -Vereinsmannschaften part from 28 countries. They qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the European Cup . At the 27th edition of the cup winners' competition, ESBF Besançon was the first time a team from France won the cup.

3rd round

Since the European handball federation standardized the round names of all club competitions and the starting field in the cup winners' cup was relatively small, this only began with the games of the third round . The first legs of the 3rd round took place between 4th and 11th. January and the second legs between 5. – 12. January 2003.
