Michael Vejar

Laurence Michael "Mike" Vejar (born June 25, 1943 in Los Angeles ) is an American television director .

Career

Vejar began his career in the late 1970s as a director on the television series Fantasy Island , of which he directed ten episodes. In the 1980s he was a sought-after television director and worked for numerous popular television series. Among other things, he directed 14 episodes of Magnum and 17 episodes of MacGyver during this time . In the 1990s he made a name for himself as the director of numerous science fiction television series, including working for Babylon 5 , Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Raumschiff Voyager . For Babylon 5 he also directed the two television films The First Step (1998) and Brothers in Arms (1999).
