Mikel Duke

Mikel Herzog (born April 16, 1960 in Bergara , Gipuzkoa ) is a Basque singer .

In the 1980s he was a member of various bands, including Ébano , Cadillac and La Década Prodigiosa . In the 1990s, some of his solo singles appeared. He was selected by the TVE broadcaster to represent Spain at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham . With the pop ballad ¿Qué voy a hacer sin ti? he ended up in 16th place.

From 2001 to 2002 he worked as a singing coach at the casting show Operación Triunfo , and in 2007 he was a member of the jury at the preliminary decision show Misión Eurovisión .
