Betty Missiego
Betty Missiego (actually: Beatriz Teresa Missiego Campos ; born January 16, 1945 in Lima , Peru ) is a Spanish pop singer of Peruvian origin.
In her home country of Peru, Betty Missiego was a well-known television presenter. In 1969 she decided to start a singing career in Spain. In 1972 she received dual citizenship . That year she represented Peru at the first OTI Festival in Madrid . She was selected to represent Spain at the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem . With the hit Su canción , supported by a four-piece children's choir, she reached second place.
