Lydia (singer)
Lydia (actually: Lydia Rodríguez Fernández , born January 15, 1980 in Madrid ) is a Spanish pop singer .
Her debut album Lydia was released at the age of 16 , which was a great success in Spain. She was selected to compete for her country in the 1999 Eurovision Song Contest in Jerusalem . She landed in last place with the pop single No quiero escuchar . Her last solo album was released in 2002. In 2007 she worked for a few months as a musical performer in the Spanish production of Jesus Christ Superstar . In 2008 she became the new singer of the famous Spanish soul band Presuntos Implicados .
