Miki Núñez Pozo (born January 6, 1996 in Terrassa ) is a Spanish pop singer . He became known as the representative of Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 .

life and career

Miki learned to play guitar and piano and graduated in administration and management. He was also musically active when he toured Catalonia as a singer for the band Dalton Bang .

In 2018 he took part in the Spanish program Operación Triunfo and finished sixth there. Through this participation he was also entitled to take part in the show's Eurovision gala . There he appeared as a solo artist with the song La venda and in the form of a duet with Natalia and the song Nadie se salva . In the end he was able to win the gala with his song La venda with 34% of the audience votes and thus received the right to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv , Israel . There he finished 22nd.
