Mickey (singer)
Micky (actually: Miguel Ángel Carreño Schmelter ; born October 20, 1943 in Madrid ) is a Spanish pop singer and actor .
In 1962 Micky's singing career began as the front man of the group Micky y los Tonys , with whom he sang five albums. From the 1970s he became active as a solo artist. With a German-language cover version of his song El chico de la armónica under the title The Boy with the Harmonica , Bernd Clüver had a number one hit for seven weeks in 1972. Micky was selected to represent Spain at the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest in London . He reached number 9 with the song Enséñame a cantar . From the 1980s onwards, in addition to his music, he was also known as a theater and television actor.
