NGC 2895 is a spiral radio galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is an estimated 397 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 95,000 ly . Together with LEDA 27076 and LEDA 2567049 , it forms the galaxy trio KUG 0928 + 577 .

The object was discovered by John Herschel on February 9, 1831 .
