NGC 6241 is a 15.2 likes bright spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Hercules .
It was discovered on April 29, 1788 by Wilhelm Herschel with an 18.7-inch reflector telescope, who described it as "eF, pS, with 300 power iF".
