NGC 6260 is a 14.1 mag bright spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Dragon in the northern sky . It is an estimated 302 million light-years away from the Milky Way and has a disk diameter of about 70,000 ly.
The object was discovered by Lewis A. Swift on August 5, 1886 .
