NGC 7019 is a barred spiral galaxy with extensive star formation from Hubble type SBb in the constellation of Capricorn on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 502 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The property was discovered by Francis Preserved Leavenworth in 1886 .
