NGC 7015 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Equuleus the northern sky . It is estimated to be 226 million light years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter. Together with ten other galaxies, it is considered a member of the NGC 7042 group ( LGG 442 ).
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 5083 .
The object was discovered on September 29, 1878 by Édouard Stephan .
