NGC 7007 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Indians in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 137 million light years from the Milky Way and about 80,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on July 8, 1834 by John Herschel .
