NGC 7030 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SBab in the constellation Capricorn on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 399 million light years from the Milky Way and about 105,000 light years across.
The property was discovered by Francis Preserved Leavenworth on September 3, 1885 .
