NGC 7043 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBa in the constellation Pegasus in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 229 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter. Together with NGC 7042 it forms the gravitationally bound galaxy pair KPG 555 and it is a member of the eleven galaxies NGC 7042 group ( LGG 442 ).
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 18, 1863 .
