NGC 7575 is an active lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 456 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light-years across. It is classified as a Seyfert 1 galaxy , a special type of very bright galaxies that belong to the group of active galaxy nuclei (AGN).
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7591 and IC 1481 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 29, 1864 .
