NGC 7598 is an elliptical galaxy of Hubble type E in the constellation Pegasus north of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 516 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7571 , NGC 7578 , NGC 7588 , NGC 7602 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on November 3, 1864 .
