NGC 7591 is a bar-spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 228 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 7562 , NGC 7557 , NGC 7583 , IC 1481 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on August 14, 1864 .
