Nam Hyun-hee ( kor. 남현희 , born September 29, 1981 ) is a South Korean foil fencer .

successes

Nam Hyun-hee took part in the Olympic Games for the first time in 2004 and finished eighth in the foil singles. In 2005, Nam Hyun-hee won the World Championships in Leipzig with the South Korean team . In 2006 at the World Championships in Turin , she won bronze with the team. In 2008 Nam Hyun-hee took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing , where she only lost 5-6 in the final against Valentina Vezzali and with her silver medal prevented the Italian team from winning the women's individual competition. In 2010 he won bronze at the World Championships in Paris both individually and with the team, as well as in 2011 at the World Championships in Catania .

In 2012 at the London Olympics , Nam Hyun-hee achieved bronze with the team. In the foil singles it was after narrow defeats in the semifinals against Elisa Di Francisca with 10:11 and in the battle for bronze against Valentina Vezzali with 12:13 the fourth place. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014 she was Asian champion in foil singles.
