The Chinese national road 108 ( Chinese 108 国 道 , Pinyin 108 Guódào , English China National Highway 108 ), Chinese abbreviation G108 , is a 3,356 km long trunk road in the area of the governable city of Beijing and in the provinces of Hebei , Shanxi , Shaanxi , Sichuan and Yunnan . It leads from the capital Beijing via Laiyuan , Fanshi , Taiyuan , Lingshi and Heyang to the metropolis of Xi'an . From there it leads via Chenggu , Mianyang , Mingshan , Mianning , Huili , Yuanmou , Wuding and Luquan to the provincial capital Kunming .
