The national road 319 ( Chinese 319 国 道 , Pinyin 319 Guódào , English China National Highway 319 ), Chinese abbreviation G319 , is a 2,984 km long Chinese trunk road running east-west in the provinces of Fujian , Jiangxi , Hunan and Sichuan as well as in the area of the governable city of Chongqing . It begins in the coastal city of Xiamen and leads from there via Zhangzhou , Longyan , Ruijin , Ningdu , Xingguo and Taihe to the provincial capital Changsha . It then runs through Yiyang , Jishou and Wulong to the metropolis of Chongqing. From there it continues via Tongliang , Anyue , Lezhi and Jianyang to the provincial capital Chengdu .
