The nature reserve Droste Woy, Rheinaue between Wesel and Bislich is located in the area of ​​the city of Wesel in the Wesel district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends along the southern edge of the Rhine between the Wesel district of Bislich to the north-west and the core city of Wesel to the east. The state road L 480 runs along the western edge of the area and the B 8 runs to the east .

A 616.16 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Wesel since 1988 under the identification number WES-026. It was placed under protection in order to maintain and develop a near-natural, regularly flooded Rhine floodplain with numerous biotope structures and communities typical of the floodplain .
