The nature reserve Rhine foreland between Mehrum and Emmelsum is located in the area of ​​the city of Voerde in the Wesel district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends west of the core city of Voerde along the west and south flowing Rhine . The state road L 4 runs east of the area and the Wesel-Datteln Canal flows on the northern edge . To the east, directly adjacent, is the 595 hectare nature reserve Momm-Niederung .
