The nature reserve research area in the Orsoyer Rheinbogen is located in the area of the city Rheinberg in the Wesel district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends north of the core town of Rheinberg along the west flowing Moersbach . State road L 137 runs to the west and south of the area, and the Rhine flows not far to the north . Directly to the east, the 397 ha FFH area foreland of the Rhine foothills extends in the Orsoyer Rheinbogen in the Rheinberg district of Orsoy .
