The nature reserve Quellbachsystem Osterbach / Langefortsbach is located in the area of ​​the community Schermbeck in the district of Wesel in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area, which consists of three sub-areas, extends west of the core town of Schermbeck and east of Wachtenbrink , which is part of the Schermbeck district of Damm . The district road  25 runs through the area, the B 58 runs south and the Lippe and Wesel-Datteln-Canal flow .

Since 2002, an area of ​​around 90 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve for Schermbeck  under the identification number WES-075.
