The nature reserve Kradepohlsmühle extends in the Gronau district of Bergisch Gladbach in the vicinity of the Kradepohlsmühle . It is part of the Schluchter Heide and the Bergische Heideterrasse .

vegetation

The protection designation takes place for the maintenance and development of a short stretch of water of the Strunde with structure-rich floodplain areas . It is an inner-city biotope network in the middle of the settlement areas of Gronau. The area is characterized by a well-developed, highly structured habitat complex with auentypischen habitats damp and wet reeds - Hochstauden- and woodlands and an old wood and deadwood rich oak - hornbeam forests in the south.
