history

The place name is not a typical Neustadt name: In the early 19th century, the homestead on the old commercial street was still called Neustadl , meaning 'new barn ' ( stable , barn ) 'as the farm name . The name Neustadt appears in the 1820s. At that time, almost all of today's farmsteads in the scattered settlement are already there.
During this time the place belongs to the district commissioner's house .
