history

Dendrochronologically were dated. Around the year zero, the Romans introduced the walnut tree in the Gallic provinces, to which the area on the northern shore of Lake Constance belonged. Nußdorf got its name between 600 and 800. It was first mentioned in 1092 when an Egilwart von Nussdorf testified to an exchange of land in Beuren. Since about 1134 Nussdorf belonged to the Salem monastery .
