Only with you a song is German pop schlager - singer Helene Fischer . The piece is one of two simultaneously released single releases from her seventh studio album Helene Fischer .
Creation and artwork
The song was written jointly by Sebastian Rätzel , Tobias Schwall and Robert Wróblewski . The piece was produced by Thorsten Brötzmann, with Helene Fischer acting as executive producer. The mastering took place at TrueBusyness Mastering in Berlin under the direction of Sascha Bühren. The piece was mixed and programmed by Brötzmann and Roman Lüth; Lüth also supported Brötzmann as a co-producer. The single was released under the music labels Island Records and Polydor and distributed through Copyright Control Shares and Shustring1 Edition.
On the black and white cover of the maxi single you can only see - in addition to the artist name and song title - Fischer's face with his right hand in front of his mouth. It is exactly the same picture as on the accompanying Helene Fischer album . On the black and white cover of a published Remix EP you can also see Fischer's face, who is looking to the right. The picture was shot by the German fashion photographer Kristian Schuller , the artwork comes from Eat, Sleep + Design in Berlin-Kreuzberg .
Publication and promotion
The first publication of A Walk to Remember was done as a single download on May 12, 2017. Just one day before the song had its airplay premiere. The piece was released at the same time as the single Herzbeben , which was also released as a single download. A physical remix EP was released on June 30, 2017 . In addition to the album version, this includes seven remix versions of Herzbeben .
In order to promote the song, live appearances followed during prime time during the ESC countdown 2017 on Erste and on Willkommen bei Carmen Nebel on ZDF .

The lyrics to Nur mit dir is written in German. The music and the text were written jointly by Sebastian Rätzel, Tobias Schwall and Robert Wróblewski. Musically, the song moves in the field of hit and pop music . The song is built on two stanzas, a bridge following the stanzas and a chorus between the stanzas as well as a repetitive one at the end of the song. Brötzmann and Roman Lüth can be heard on the keyboard as instrumentalists. In terms of content, the song addresses a love affair. It's about finally having found the partner you've always been looking for and the feeling of being connected to him. A partner who gives you support or tailwind. In an interview with the specialist journal Musikmagazin , Fischer stated that the song was dedicated to her boyfriend . |

Markus Brandstetter from the German online magazine laut.de awarded the overall product Helene Fischer two out of five stars and, in his ironic review, came to the conclusion that Fischer had “ridiculed” all of his self-imposed music critic irony with Just with you . The perfect “human machine” would invite you to the “ endorphins break”, everything is forgotten out of sheer “wellbeing”, from the upcoming tax return to the apocalypse .
Christopher Sennfelder from the German-language e-zine Plattentests.de only awarded two out of ten points for the album. He is of the opinion that songs like Nur mit dich or Flieger would follow a simple scheme: "A little wobble and bubbling in the verses, drum rolls in the bridge, emotionally charged gasps in the choruses".
Wolfgang Wendland from the German punk band Die Kassierer rated the album Helene Fischer for Bild and came to the opening song Only with you that the song was too hard to begin with, that he would listen to at the end. Ultimately, he was “extremely” surprised at how openly exotic sexual practices were sung about in a German hit, or he misunderstood something.

Only with you reached position 34 in the single charts in Germany and stayed in the charts for a total of six weeks. The single has currently been in the daily evaluations of the German iTunes charts for over a month and, after appearing on the ESC Countdown, reached position 15 on May 14, 2017. In Austria, the single reached position 74 and in two chart weeks in Switzerland also in two chart weeks position 52 in the charts.
For Fischer as a performer this is the 13th chart success in Germany, as well as her eighth in Austria and the seventh in Switzerland. For the fifth time, a single Fischers was able to place itself in all DA-CH countries at the same time . For the authors Rätzel, Schwall and Wróblewski it is the first chart success of their career. In his work as an author or music producer, Brötzmann reached the German charts for the 74th time, the charts in Austria for the 39th time and the Swiss hit parade for the 33rd time.
