Olga Vladimirovna Rotschewa ( Russian Ольга Владимировна Рочева ; born July 4, 1978 in Krasnoyarsk ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Rotschewa won the gold medal over 7.5 km freestyle at the European Olympic Winter Youth Days 1995 in Andorra la Vella and the bronze medal with the relay at the 1998 Junior World Championships in Pontresina . In the World Cup they started the first time in November 1998 in Muonio . She finished 20th in the 5 km freestyle and got her first World Cup points. At the Winter Universiade 1999 in Štrbské Pleso , she won the gold medal with the relay. In the 2000/01 season she won her first race in the Continental Cup in Campra TI over 10 km freestyle and achieved her first top ten placement in the World Cup with tenth place in the sprint in Brusson . In February 2001 she won the gold medal at the Winter Universiade in Zakopane over 5 km classic and over 5 km freestyle. In the following month she made it into the points five times in the World Cup and at the end of the season she finished 33rd in the overall World Cup. The following season she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with second place with the relay in Davos . Her best result of the season in the World Cup singles was 15th place over 5 km freestyle in Nové Město . At the 2003 Winter Universiade in Tarvisio , she came 12th in the sprint, eighth in the 15 km mass start race and seventh place over 5 km classic. In the 2005/06 season she came in the points in all competitions in the World Cup, including four times in the top ten and thus achieved 19th place in the overall World Cup and in the Distance World Cup. At the season highlight of the 2006 Winter Olympics in Pragelato , she finished 18th in the 30 km mass start race, 14th in the sprint and sixth place together with Alena Sidko in the team sprint. At the beginning of the 2007/08 season she was third with the relay in Davos. At the Tour de Ski 2007/08 she achieved fifth place in the overall ranking with six top ten placements. At the following World Cup in Canmore she achieved her best individual placement in the World Cup with third place in the skiathlon . In March 2008 she became the Russian champion over 10 km classic. She finished the season in 13th place in the Distance World Cup and 12th place in the overall World Cup. At the Tour de Ski 2008/09 , she finished 19th. In February 2009 she came in the Nordic World Ski Championships 2009 in Liberec on the 27th place in the skiathlon and the 11th place over 10 km classic. She also won the Demino Ski Marathon that season . At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, she started in Krasnogorsk for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup and took second place over 10 km classic. In the World Cup singles she reached five top ten placements and took third place in Rybinsk together with Irina Chasowa in the team sprint. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he finished 40th in the sprint, 29th in the 30km mass start race and 26th in the skiathlon. At the end of the season she came in 30th place in the World Cup finals in Falun and in the overall World Cup. In the 2011/12 season she reached three podium finishes in the Eastern Europe Cup, including two wins and finished second in the overall standings for the season. In the World Cup she came in the points seven times and thus achieved the 52nd place in the overall World Cup. The following season she was twice third and once second in the Eastern Europe Cup. In Werschina Tjoi she clinched her third victory in the classic cup over 10 km and finished the season in fifth place. In the 2013/14 season she took part in competitions of the Worldloppet Cup . She achieved third place in the Dolomitenlauf and second place in the Transjurassienne and was fifth in the overall ranking. In April 2014, she won the 60km freestyle at the Avacha Ski Marathon. In both single season appearances in Eastern Europe Cup in season 2015/16 they won in Syktyvkar over 10 km freestyle and in the skiathlon. In March 2016 she became Russian champion over 10 km classic and won the Demino Ski Marathon for the second time. The following month, she finished second in the Ugra Ski Marathon . In the 2016/17 season she won the Vasaloppet China and, as in the previous year, the Demino Ski Marathon. In addition, she took her sixth victory in the Eastern Europe Cup over 15 km in Krasnogorsk.
