Ghana took part in the 1964 Summer Olympics in the Japanese capital Tokyo with a delegation of 33 athletes in 18 competitions in three sports.
For the first time, three women were also delegated. A medal (bronze) could be won. It was the country’s third Summer Olympics participation .
