The Nordic Combined competition consisted of a cross-country skiing over 18 kilometers and two jumps from the normal hill. While the ski jumping competition was held separately, the Nordic Combined took part in the cross-country competition over 18 kilometers, in which medals are also awarded in cross-country skiing. František Šimůnek took fifth place in the triple triumph of the Norwegians and was thus the best non-Scandinavian in the Nordic combined field.
