Prinstein achieved the winning distance in the first round. He injured himself in the process and could no longer jump with full force in the further rounds. The runner-up made several allegations against the jury. So Prinstein jumped earlier than the starting order stipulated and therefore found better conditions on the inrun. In addition, several jumps by himself - Peter O'Connor - were wrongly assessed as invalid. However, these decisions were probably in accordance with the applicable rules. The competition was also unhappy for the Swede Mellander, who jumped almost half a meter in front of the board in his best jump. O'Connor and Friend achieved their bests in the last of the three additional rounds.
