Orix was a Spanish car brand.

Company history

Don Juan Ramírez from Barcelona started producing automobiles in 1952 . In 1954 the production was stopped. Only a few copies were made.

There are very small cars prepared with its own two-cylinder piston engine cm³ with 610 cubic capacity and 27 PS performance were equipped. In addition to open two-seater coupes were offered. In 1954 a prototype was created with a body that resembled the VW Beetle .

A vehicle of this brand can be seen at the Collecció d'Automòbils de Salvador Claret car museum in Sils .
