politics
City council and mayor
At the communal level, the village of Osterndorf is represented by the Beverstedt municipal council.
coat of arms
The design of the municipal coat of arms of Easter village comes from the heraldist and coat of arms painter Albert de Badrihaye , who designed around 80 coats of arms in the district of Cuxhaven.
Blazon : " Divided , above in blue a full, shining golden sun , below in silver a red Odal's rune ." | |
Justification for the coat of arms: The shining sun indicates the place name as a symbol for the east. The Odals rune is a symbol of the peasant heritage. |
