Altwistedt ( Low German Ooldwist ) is a district of the village of Kirchwistedt in the unified municipality of Beverstedt in the Lower Saxony district of Cuxhaven .

Incorporations

In 1939 the formerly independent community Altwistedt was first incorporated into Kirchwistedt. In 1945 it became independent again and in the course of the regional reform in Lower Saxony on March 1, 1974 it was repeatedly incorporated into Kirchwistedt. At the same time, Kirchwistedt moved from the Bremervörde district to the Beverstedt municipality ( Wesermünde district ).

Since November 1, 2011 Kirchwistedt has been a village in the unified municipality of Beverstedt in the district of Cuxhaven.
