Architecture and history

The half-timbered house was built by Gabriel Goldfuß in 1637 . The inscription M. GABRIEL GOLTFUS ZIM refers to him . The richly decorated half-timbered façade has older decorative elements such as the taw stick and console frieze , but also more modern decorations such as pyramid beam heads . Striking is an on-the southern side, pointing to the street Zwerchhaus and located therebelow two-story bay window . A gate with an inscription above leads through the house. On the courtyard side there is a gallery above the passage.

A staircase in the Baroque or Rococo style is remarkable , the posts of which are decorated with carvings.

There are two wings of the building in the courtyard of the property. The northern one was probably built in the 18th century, it is two-story and has a solid ground floor. It is thought of with a pent roof .

The southern wing of the courtyard is three-story, decorated with ankle ribbons and covered with a gable roof. The vaulted cellar of the house from the first half of the 17th century is remarkable.
