Pablo Lastras García (born January 20, 1976 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish cyclist .

Lastras rode continuously between 1998 and 2015 for the cycling team of Eusebio Unzué , which was called Banesto in 1998 . He was regarded as a loyal domestics and in this role played 17 grand tours , of which he completed 15. Lastras also achieved individual successes and won one stage of the Giro d'Italia in 2001 , two stages of the Vuelta a España in 2002 and one in 2011 . At the Tour de France he won the 18th stage in the sprint of a breakaway group. He also won the overall ratings of the Burgos Tour in 2003 and the Ruta del Sol in 2008 as well as daily sections of other stage races . After he suffered a broken pelvis in a fall on the 2015 Tour of Catalonia and was out for months, he announced his retirement from active cycling at the end of the season.
