The Pacific Pines State Park is a 4.4 hectare state park on the Pacific coast . It is north of Ocean Park on Long Beach Peninsula in Pacific County of Washington state. In 1972 the site was purchased by Pacific Properties for US $ 119,000.

Before using it as a public recreational area with a parking lot, toilets, picnic areas and access to the beach, the site should be developed as building land under the name “Pacific Pines”. The 4.4 hectare state park with 180 m of coastline is located in a dune landscape with a population of spruce, coastal pines and alders as well as various thimbles, lupins, ferns, mosses and lichens. These provide habitat for rodents such as chipmunks and rabbits, as well as skunks and raccoons.

Clams, crabs, seals and sea birds can be found in the beach areas. The bird world is represented by falcons, corvids, ducks, geese, gulls, snipe birds , grouse , toothed quail , woodpeckers, jays , wrens and hummingbirds.

The broom is one of the undesirable plants that are classified as invasive and thus endanger biodiversity and the habitat . There are plans for the Pacific Pines State Park to establish a permanent facility such as a yurt as the location for an environmental education facility .
