The Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a recreational area on the western shore of Lake Chelan , 15 mi (24 km) northwest of the city Chelan in Chelan County in the State of Washington . The 232 acres (93.9 hectare) state park was a private resort owned by the state in 1972. It was leased to various concessionaires until the state took over personnel sovereignty in 1988. The park has campsites and a marina, as well as fishing, water skiing, bird watching, and mountain biking.
