Pautzsch is a district of the city of Groitzsch in the district of Leipzig (Free State of Saxony ). The place was incorporated into Michelwitz in 1948 . With this he came to Auligk in 1973 and to the city of Groitzsch in 1996.

Pautzsch is located in the Leipzig lowland bay seven kilometers south of Groitzsch. Pautzsch was mentioned in 1378 as "Puczik" or "Buczig". Already at that time the place consisted of only three rural properties. The small hamlet was in the area of ​​the County of Groitzsch (castrum Groitzsch), which in 1460 was combined with the Pegau escort office to form the Pegau office . From then until 1856 Pautzsch was in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Pegau. The manorial rule over Pautzsch, which was temporarily deserted , lay with the Löbnitz manor . From 1856 the place belonged to the judicial office of Pegau and from 1875 to the district administration Borna .

On October 1, 1948, it was incorporated into Michelwitz , with which the place came to the Borna district in the Leipzig district in 1952 . Michelwitz and its districts were in turn incorporated into Auligk on July 1, 1973 . As a district of Auligk, Pautzsch was assigned to the Saxon district of Borna in 1990 and to the district of Leipziger Land in 1994 . When Auligk was incorporated into Groitzsch on January 1, 1996, Pautzsch became a part of the town of Groitzsch.
