Peter Lika

Peter Lika (* 1947 in Augsburg ) is a German opera singer . He is considered one of the leading German bass players in the concert and opera field .

Life

Peter Lika began his singing career as a boy soloist with the Regensburger Domspatzen . His unmistakable timbre paired with finely tuned dramaturgical expressiveness make him one of the predestined soloists z. For example, for rolls as the Prophet Elias or Paul in the same oratorios of Mendelssohn or the Moses in Max Bruch 's only oratory . He also had outstanding success with the design of the title roles in Joseph Haydn's The Creation and The Seasons .
