Petra Bonmassar
Petra Bonmassar (born March 11, 1975 in Feldkirch ) is an Austrian songwriter, music producer, singer and vocal coach. As a composer, singer and vocal coach, she works for DJ BoBo , Andrea Berg , Shaggy , Dieter Bohlen , Leonard , Patrick Lindner and Michelle , among others .
Life
Bonmassar grew up mostly in Vorarlberg. After primary school she graduated from BORG Götzis. There she joined the musical group WAMCO and made her first stage experience on the Bregenz lake stage in 1992.
After graduating from high school, she became the lead singer in the band "Crabby", with whom she won the 1998 talent competition "Talents 98". This was followed by live appearances as a support act with Lutricia McNeal and Candy Dulfer . She established herself as a studio singer and composer and worked in various recording studios. At the same time she founded her own recording studio and self-taught herself in the subject of recording, engineering and mixing.
In 2001, the author's contract with the music publisher " 0711 Entertainment " (Sony BMG) in Stuttgart followed, through which various songs were published.
2003 was her breakthrough as a songwriter with the Starmania singles "Tomorrow's Heroes" and "Alles und mehr", which she composed with Ina Wolf and Martin Frainer .
Through her collaboration with Syndicate Musicproduction, she met the Swiss artist DJ BoBo , for whom she has been singing, composing and producing since 2005. There was also a collaboration with music producers like Hubert Molander (Paldauer, Nockalm Quintett, Beatrice Egli , ...) or Uwe Altenried (Klostertaler, Linda Fäh, ...).
In 2018 Petra Bonmassar founded her recording studio "SiNG-STUBE" in Vorarlberg with a focus on vocal recording, vocal coaching and songwriting.
