Philipp Meyer (District President)
Philipp Meyer (born August 2, 1919 - October 23, 1998 ) was a German government official.
Career
Philipp Meyer studied 1947-1950 jurisprudence . From 1975 he was President of the Bavarian District of Lower Franconia . During his term of office, the district and municipal area reform in Bavaria fell . When he reached the age of 65, he retired in 1984. He has held a variety of honorary positions in the fields of science, history, transport and social affairs. From 1982 to 1992 he was chairman of the Friends of Mainfränkischer Kunst und Geschichte eV
