Julius von Henle

Julius Ritter von Henle (born May 23, 1864 in Regensburg ; † February 16, 1944 ) was a German administrative lawyer and government official and the last royal Bavarian district president of the Lower Franconia and Aschaffenburg district.

Life

Henle first studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1883 he became active in the Corps Ratisbonia Munich . As an inactive, he moved to the University of Leipzig . After the exams he joined the internal administration of the Kingdom of Bavaria . In 1889 he was with the Magistrate of Regensburg and with the government of the Upper Palatinate . He came to Marktheidenfeld in 1890 as a District Office Assessor and in 1893 to the government of Lower Franconia . At the turn of the century he was appointed district administrator in Hof (Saale) . Transferred to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior , he was senior government advisor (1905), ministerial advisor (1909) and ministerial director (1912). At the beginning of 1917 he became regional president in Lower Franconia and Aschaffenburg . He remained in this position until his retirement on August 1, 1929.
