The Primera División 1931/32 was the fourth season of the highest Spanish football league . It started on November 22, 1931 and ended on April 3, 1932.
After the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic , the use of monarchist symbols and name components was banned. As a result, numerous clubs had to modify their name and coat of arms before the start of the season.

- The two-time champions Athletic Bilbao started the race as defending champions . Last year's runner-up was Racing Santander .
- Moved up from the Segunda División is the FC Valencia .
