The spring areas and spring brooks on Lohweg is a nature reserve designated in 2004 by the Detmold regional council (NSG number LIP-069) in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Lage in the Lippe district in Germany .
location
The approximately 13 hectare large nature reserve source areas and headwaters on Lohweg is one natural area to Lipper Bergland . It extends around six kilometers south-south-west of downtown Lagens, between the districts of Hörste in the north-west, Stapelage in the north-east and the Teutoburg Forest in the south.

The protected area source areas and source streams on the Lohweg is defined as an area of "near-natural wet and dry biotopes in close spatial interlinking with creek-accompanying alder (quarry) forest, wet grassland, a dune with larger open sand areas, silver grass pioneer meadow, mixed pine forest and birch quarry forest on spring location ".
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the "protection and maintenance of a near-natural stream course, endangered forest and wet grassland communities as well as open dune locations".
