Rödisch is a district in the Herkenrath district of the city of Bergisch Gladbach in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Rödisch is a farm north of the road connecting Horst and Hardt . The postal address is Hardt 12 .

history

Rödisch is named as Gütchen in the files of the Duchy of Berg from 1772 to 1793. From the chart of the Duchy of Berg in 1789 by Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking, it emerges that Rödisch was part of the Herkenrath honors in the parish of Herkenrath at that time .

Under the French administration between 1806 and 1813 the Porz office was dissolved and Rödisch was politically assigned to Mairie Bensberg in the canton of Bensberg . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the mayor's office in Bensberg in the Mülheim am Rhein district .

The place is on the Prussian first recording from 1840 and from the Prussian new recording from 1892 it is regularly listed as Rödisch on measuring table sheets .

Due to the Cologne Act , the city of Bensberg was merged with Bergisch Gladbach to form the city of Bergisch Gladbach with effect from January 1, 1975. Rödisch also became part of Bergisch Gladbach. Rödisch belongs to the Catholic parish Herkenrath.
